Homosexuality and "Homophobia"

If you have spent any time reading the texts available on this website you will no doubt know that we in The Way consider homosexuality to be a perversion. The sixth Law forbids this act, as it states:

"Lay not man with man or woman with woman. Such thing goes against the natural way of things. That which goes against the natural way of things is a danger to nature itself. Death shall visit those who break this law."

It is often cited that as certain animals show "homosexual" behavior, homosexual activity in humans is therefore natural. Despite the fact that they are animals and know no better, there are many things in the animal world that may be considered natural for the animals involved, but these animalistic behaviors would not necessarily translate into being natural for humans. For example, in seahorses it is the male and not the female that gives birth. This is natural as the male of this species is naturally physiologically adapted for the task. Obviously the same can not be said for humans.

Another example would be infanticide, where the parent eats the young. This can happen often in the animal world, so should we consider it natural among humans? I think not.

The act of the homosexual, copulation by way of anal intercourse, is quite simply not a natural act. You may call me crazy but I am of the opinion that the anus and rectum are naturally designed for the purposes of defecation and the release of gases generated by digestion, and nothing else.

It is not surprising that homosexuals have high rates of Hepatitis infection (associated with contact with fecal matter), not to mention HIV as well as other STD's such as the new strain of antibiotic resistant Gonorrhea on the rise particularly amongst homosexual men. Should it not be plainly obvious that these acts are extremely dangerous to people's health, and even more so, to the lives of their children?

These diseases are inevitably spread due to the promiscuous nature of homosexuals and the "anything goes" attitude of today's society in general. Did you know that the "father of the sexual revolution", Dr Kinsey, was himself a "bisexual" (and quite possibly a pedophile to boot) who recorded pedophile acts on children as young as 5 months old in his 1948 book "Sexual behavior in the human male"?

Nowadays anyone who speaks out against homosexuality is often branded as being "homophobic". So just what is homophobia?

According to Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary it is described as an "irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals", the emphasis being on irrational which obviously comes from the suffix "phobia". According to the The American Heritage Stedman's Medical Dictionary, when used as a suffix "phobia" is described as "An intense, abnormal, or illogical fear of a specified thing".

Considering the evidence, is it really so irrational and illogical to think that homosexuality is wrong? Thinking homosexuality is wrong is an opinion, and certainly not a phobia.
