Oil and other Oddities
I seem to have read so much lately regarding the state of the World. We of The Way have been warning of it for many generations. It has always been felt by those peddlers of blind faith and belief that we must be destroyed by any and whatever means at their disposal to silence us and to shut up anyone who had a different view -- and especially anyone who might be listened to by the faithful -- was and still is a priority. This was mainly what the Inquisition was about and the Church of Rome waded in blood to achieve its questionable purpose.
They taught belief in the unbelievable and blind faith in whatever they wanted us to believe. Royalty and politicians kept us poor, enslaved by our simple needs and afraid to do anything about it. "The Lord will provide!" they promised. "Life after death..." they promised. "Pray and do as we say and all will be well," they promised. "God will not allow anything to happen to you," was also promised, amongst other unreal and outlandish claims.
Now we are about to be faced with the cold reality. Climate change is causing the Greenland Plate to melt on the inside, turning it into great water -filled eggshell that is just waiting to burst. When it does -- and there appears to be no doubt that it will -- it will cause the mother and father of all tsunamis. It will happen before you think. It may well happen in the next three years, but certainly before 2010.
We ask you not to believe this or anything else we say. We prefer instead, that you check up on it. You will then know that it is real. Should you find proof of anything that we may not yet be aware, please pass it on to us so that we now know better. Should you find definite proof that we have something wrong, then tell us about it; but remember, we need actual proof. Mankind will survive through knowledge and not by misinformation or through belief or blind faith.
Oil price are rising and politicians are arguing; some one way, some another. There are those who believe that oil production will peak and then supplies will gradually decline as it eventually runs out, therefore becoming harder and more costly to produce. The only certainty is that it will run out before 2017, and possibly three to fours years before. The reason that it is hard to judge the time element is due to the increase in consumption, which cannot be accurately forecast.
Politicians won't come clean on the matter, as they want to keep the lid on the pot for as long as possible. Their cherished positions must be held at all costs and it will be we, the ordinary people, who will pay the cost, receiving none of any reward, real or imagined.
Some argue that fossil fuel is a renewable resource. They're partly right, but we can't really wait millennia for it to replenish itself. Apart from all of that, the conditions that caused it to form in the first place and its effects on our planet would most certainly not be the same because of the global warming component. Therefore it would not and could not develop in the same way, and certainly not in any serious quantities.
The governments of the world have known about the situation for some time, due to the ability of modern technology and aircraft to detect every last drop on the planet. Not only can they locate it, they can record exactly how much they detect also practically to the last drop.
Because of the world governments collusion in this secrecy, there are some who believe that there's a group of people making plans to control the world, which is an obvious conclusion considering the circumstances. But how dare you think such a thing! Aren't all our bankers and politicians above reproach? Imagine a New World Order, but ruled from where? Rome, London, Washington? Moscow perhaps?
"Not possible," you might say, "Who would want to rule the world?" This idea has been the driving force behind many a madman in the past, so it is a strong possibility. Considering the evidence and past experience, there could be more than a grain of truth in it. Look at an unnamed but major chemical production company and how it has monopolised the genotypes of so many of our staple food plants.
Such companies are now in a position to control all the seed that we need to grow our food and so control food. If you want to grow food, you pay them or you don't grow anything. They don't even allow a farmer to keep seed from his own crops to use again the next year. This is a practice used all over the world by farmers for generations. Seed often does better the second year, after acclimatization to soil location and other factors. This is a truly serious point of concern when you consider all the possible consequences of so much power in the hands of a few. It has been made legal but it will never be moral.
Should anyone develop a new strain of plant then that's fine, but to just copyright every plant! It makes one wonder why such a thing should be allowed by any government in the first place.
There are so many problems apart from oil that can and will cause great suffering and death in the future and no one appears to be doing anything about it. The control of such Companies over food, and therefore life, will have its own price to pay: and once again guess who will pay it?
Just after Hurricane Katrina, the price of oil jumped. Mass panic ensued, and not just in America. Look at Britain: people rushing about to fill their tanks with petrol. This panic buying causes further shortages, and shortages cause more panic, and so on. Remember the last strike in England?
Everything in our lives depends on oil. Imagine it at £10 a gallon or even 10 a litre. You may think it can't happen. Not only can it happen -- it will happen. Oil price have gone up from $11 a barrel in the late '90s to its current price, which is approximately between 500% and 600% of an increase. It's hard to nail it down to an exact percentage because of the day-to-day fluctuation in price. By checking up on the net and elsewhere, the oil is certainly running out, which will raise prices to an astronomical level as depletion of production amounts increases.
Imagine it if you can. It's a bit like trying to imagine a light year in its reality. A mile you can imagine easily. Even tens of thousands of miles, but a light-year is outside our experience, making it very difficult to actually imagine. So is a world without oil equally difficult to imagine? It's just been there all our lives.
Most electricity is produced by oil these days and there is nothing else that can provide near enough to cover our needs. Imagine no TV, no washing machines, fridges, heating, lighting and no power for machinery to make the goods we need.
Our water supplies require pumping from reservoirs, and the same applies to pumps in treatment and recycling plants. Without recycling plants for our water there will not be enough water even fit enough to wash the car, never mind drink or cook food with. How long can we last without a supply of clean water? Sewage systems also need pumps to deal with: and what a problem that will be.
Animals and mankind both need clean water. Dirty water won't do; and consider that a simple cow requires approximately ten gallons per day to survive. Therefore, because of the amounts needed, there just won't be enough. When the animals start to die off we lose a very valuable source of food. As species die out we have lost them forever, and as we lose food sources we will start to die out to the point of extinction.
Agriculture will not be able to produce anywhere near enough food without oil. Very few farmers today can plough with horses, or even have the slightest idea how to use them at all. There will also be the problem of getting suitable tools and equipment to turn the agricultural clock back fifty years. Even then there will be no oil-powered trucks to carry whatever food they do produce to anywhere.
We do have motorways, but we have few canals in useable condition. The sides of the motorways do however provide camping grounds and grazing for horses and cattle drives. For instance, public roads are to be upgraded using public and private money. The money outlaid is to be retrieved by tolls. That means booths and bottlenecks that can't be avoided. Guess what else they can be used for? And the timing is about right to coincide with the real bite to be felt by the public in general. "Control of the public" is high on the political agendas, as it usually is when they are about to shaft you. All this is planned to be up and running by 2012. Imagine that if you will.
Pesticides have become essential nowadays just to ensure a crop. They too require oil. Fertilizers require oil. Without these, crops will either fail or the yields will be drastically depleted. Modern medicines depend on oil. There will be no planes, cars, trains, buses, taxis, tractors, bulldozers, mechanical diggers or any of the forms of machinery that we have become so totally dependent on.
Most scary of all, is that when the oil is gone there will be no police cars or army vehicles, so you will be unprotected against gangs of thugs. Starving people will do whatever they must in order to survive; and if killing you to get food is one of the things that they have to do, they will do it. Who amongst us won't, given the right circumstances?
Governments all over the world are finding excuses to take away all forms of defense. From fireworks (in case the powder might be used to make bombs) to guns, in case they will be used against government or government forces, therefore making the general public less manageable.
Guns were removed from licensed gun holders in England years ago -- but the crooks still have them and gun crimes have increased. It is only law abiding citizens who can't have them. On TV tonight, they are even getting upset over children being able to buy kitchen knives over the net and are seeking to put a stop to it. Anyone would have cause to think that, like guns, these youngsters will always manage to get them and the rest of us will be totally unable to defend ourselves or our families as we will be denied access to anything sharp or anything that goes bang.
You will be of course more easily managed by the powers that be. The faceless nameless ones and the ones that you think that you can trust. You will have to defend yourselves against governments as well as the gangsters, because when you work it out you will see that there is little difference between them. Both of them want to farm you like an animal - and not for your benefit. We will be required to carry identification with us at all times so that there will be some form of governmental control on every street corner. Hence the omnipresent cameras, which of course are there naturally and solely for your benefit. If you want to believe that, then it's up to you. Taxes must be collected remember.
Governments are already preparing for all of this, but they are not putting infrastructures in place to do anything practical. Why? I for one question this point, as I don't understand why not, because the manufacturing of just about everything you can think of depends on oil, and the power-hungry ones know it, and have known it for years. We will be going back to the Stone Age very quickly if were not careful ? and even if we are careful.
People lie, but numbers don't. The numbers are indisputable. We started with 2000 billion barrels of oil. So far we have used 1000 billion barrels. We use 28 million barrels a day at this time. With growth in China and the third world, we haven't got much time left. There are no more oil fields to be discovered. As I write there are companies exploring oil wells that just a few short years ago were considered uneconomical. We will soon be using more oil than we produce and then production will become so expensive that it will become a pointless operation.
Consider all the religious nuts in the world. There are as many other religious fanatics who are willing and able to go to do battle against anyone that makes them feel threatened. Terrorism will play a role here, as it will be seen as an opportunity to score points.
Furthermore, we must also consider the growth of China, and that is rapidly going in the wrong direction as they are using the West as a blueprint. They want what they perceive that the West has: cars, money, social life -- whatever that is -- and Lifestyle. They haven't realized how shaky it all is, much less its true value. Its foundation is oil and soon it will have no foundation. If China uses the same foundation then their dreams will soon come tumbling down, disappearing with the rising sun and rude awakenings, as is the case with all dreams.
A serious terrorist attack could make all this happen tomorrow. There are groups that have the ability to do great destruction: and they will. If for instance, they decided to set enough wells on fire and enough oil storage farms and refineries, they could easily bring the wealthy western powers to their knees. And they could do it, make no mistake. I would be surprised if they aren't plotting it all right at this minute.
The powers that be and the oil producer will have it well figured out, that the last man standing with a chieftain tank and five gallons of petrol will be monarch of all he surveys. The World has never been short of madmen, has it?
Then, there's the oil producing countries to consider. What do you think they will do. Remember that they are not stupid and are hardly likely to leave themselves short. They too like their cash and their power. Work it out and ask your self what you think they are likely to do about it, especially with atomic power to back up whatever actions they decide to take.
Many experts now say that by 2010 severe rationing will have to be brought in. ?Severe' meaning petrol for Army and Police vehicles only. What about ambulances and doctor you might ask? You, Joe and Johanna Public don't matter that much, or at best you won't by then. If you think otherwise, then you're a fool! You can be done without unless you are an obedient servant. Better than dead, do you think?
Some will say that "Someone will do something". When asked the question, "WHAT?" they have no answers. They speak of alternative fuels. The fact is that there are no feasible alternatives. All alternative fuels and energy sources like coal, natural gas, methane, hydrogen, nuclear, solar, hydro, wind, geothermal, fuel cells, and ethanol all have problems, and cannot be practically scaled up to replace cheap oil, ever! Most require oil to manufacture their components and their spare parts anyway. Plastics depend on oil.
Even if you add up all these alternatives, they won't even come close to the equivalent of 28 million barrels of oil a day. Bio-diesel alone would require all the agricultural land in the world; and then it would not produce enough to replace fossil fuels. We can't do that as we would starve. If we don't do it, then we will starve. Shot if you do and shot if you don't.
No form of a free energy device exists, or is likely to. By stretching the imagination, even if a source were to be discovered, it may not save us from the 2nd Stone Age because of economic and political problems that will prove insurmountable. We must play our little political games now, mustn't we?
It's not a pretty picture is it? And what's being done? Surprisingly, apart from the usual lip service, somewhere between not a lot and nothing at all, apart from securing the public accesses and controlling the masses. If we take no notice it might all go away. It's a good job that there will always be football though isn't it? Or does that depend on oil as well?
Still not to worry, God won't let it happen now, will he? He works in mysterious way his wonders to perform -- or is it deform? Just like he didn't let the Roman Catholic priests abuse the little children. The way he didn't let the 2005 tsunami happen, nor the countless floods that killed thousands of innocents for years now. Not to forget the fires that he didn't let happen, the last World War, the slaughter of the Jews, the First World War and the Boer war. The countless famines, the Napoleonic wars, the plagues, black and otherwise. Past revolutions that have killed countless innocent thousands.
So what makes religious people think that their extinction can't happen? But then they are all going to march up to heaven and sit on God's right hand at the ending of days.
And Jesus said "Believe not in that which is beyond belief." Wake up and smell the roses. There's no one out there. There's just us and we have to do whatever we can and pay whatever prices that we must to survive. Even then there are no guarantees. The alternative is to wait for it, because it's coming and when it does, you're dead.
