"TO BELIEVE OR TO KNOW"
What do you BELIEVE Sir?
Now, tell me what you KNOW.
They're miles apart, I say, Sir.
Take care of how you go.
The PM he BELIEVED, Sir,
And sent us into war.
Now ask him what he KNEW Sir,
He didn't KNOW the score.
It's easy to BELIEVE, Sir.
Harder by far to KNOW.
When it turns out that you're wrong. Sir,
You have nowhere to go.
To tell what you BELIEVE ,Sir,
Is to tell what you don't KNOW.
That is no use to me, Sir,
And I must tell you so.
Excuses just won't wash, Sir,
If you act upon BELIEF.
Make sure you KNOW beforehand ,Sir,
Then you'll save us all much grief.
