Bringing up a Caulbearer child

Caulbearer children should generally be brought up as other children. They are often noted to be of a well-disposed nature but may often be regarded as strange by other children and even adults because of their unusual depth of perception which will be generally misunderstood by the population at large. This may result in the child becoming withdrawn and a loner, keeping their distance from those who may appear to resent them and sometimes attack them unjustly.

As we all perceive reality to varying degrees depending on our individual level of sensitivity (or lack of it) and Caulbearers are noted for their perceptive abilities, their peers and society at large may tend to give them a hard time.

The Caulbearer child will often not understand or be able to explain to others what they perceive and this can often lead to feelings of rejection and detachment. If a child tends to be aware of things and happens to mention it, others should not be so quick to decide that it is fanciful imagination without considering the facts relating to the events in question.

Many of us have experienced the sensation of precognition, knowing of something before it happened in reality or in another place. We cannot explain how or why but still we know it was as real as if it happened in reality in front of us. It is quite common for a Caulbearer to sense things in this manner, so it is essential that adequate understanding is applied as it will inevitably lead to undesirable emotional consequences and a feeling of being misunderstood and rejected.
