Who Shall?
And Mary said to Jesus, “Will matter it then that we be destroyed or not?” The Saviour said, “All natures, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved into their own roots; for the nature of the matter is resolved into the roots of its nature alone. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Peter said to him, “Since you have explained everything to us, tell us this also -- what is the sin of the world?” The Saviour said, “There is no sin, but it is you who make sin when you do the things that are like the nature of adultery, which is called sin. That is why the Good came into your midst, to the essence of every nature, in order to restore it to its root.”
Then he continued and said, “That is why you become sick and die, for if you are the one to see, or if you be he who understands in realisation, let him so understand. Matter gave birth to a passion that has no equal, which proceeded from something that is not of natural law. Then there arises a disturbance in the whole body born of that which is not of the natural way of things.
That is why I said to you, ‘Be of good courage,’ and if you are discouraged for any reason or for no reason, still be encouraged in the presence of the different forms of nature. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
When the Blessed One had said this, he greeted them all, saying, “Peace be with you: receive my peace to yourselves. Beware that no one lead you astray, saying, ‘Lo here!’ or ‘Lo there!’ for the Son of Man is within you even though he mayest be dead.
The Seventh shall come. Be not afraid --- follow after him. Those who seek him will find him. Go then and preach the gospel of his reason and my reason. Tell all of the kingdom that shall yet come.
Do not lay down any rules beyond what I appointed for you -- interpret not. And do not give a law like the lawgiver lest you be constrained by it. All law is the servant of justice. Loose not this lest you become lost in thine own mire.
And this I say: -- that he who shall come after me in The Purpose shall be born in a time of great war: and his father shall die while he still suckles; and his mother shall stay widowed. She shall suffer her life onto him and onto me and onto The Purpose. She shall surely be exalted amongst women for all time.
His number shall be ten as is prophesied and his life shall be a great burden onto him: and he shall have great troubles, and shall know great fear and great loss in his time.
Let you who have ears hear me as I ask of you who are amongst the Brethren and those who are not of the Brethren:
Who amongst you shall gird his loins with the skin of a lamb and await the coming of the Son of the Widow?
Who amongst you shall protect the Son of the Widow even onto the cost of his own life?
Who amongst you shall give shelter to the Son of the Widow?
Who shall sell all that he has and follow the Son of the Widow who shall travel from the East to the West?.........
